My name is Abigail James, and I’m a recent graduate from Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia.

 

I have a BA in Communication Studies and a minor in English with a concentration in Professional Writing. 

 

I have an aptitude for planning and implementing change in an organization. I enjoy finding ways to help others build on their strengths and challenge habits that hinder progress. I believe that a stitch in time saves nine, and I would always rather fix a problem today than wait for the crisis tomorrow.

 

I hope to work in the Emergency Planning and Management field as a program specialist and would love to find a career with opportunities to serve my community.

 

I am open to new experiences and look forward to the possibilities that my future brings.
